The premier International Human Rights Art Festival, New York City’s first arts-advocacy festival of its kind, will be presented by The Institute of Prophetic Activist Art, co-sponsored and housed at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie St, NYC). Only Child Aerial Theatre's NYC premiere of ASYLUM is part of Circus Now's International Contemporary Circus Exposure on March 3, 2017 at 8pm at NYU Skirball. ASYLUM is one of 5 international companies selected this year, and Only Child Aerial Theatre is the first NY-based company ever selected for the festival. This show is rare in the circus theatre world in that it is produced, written, directed, and composed by females and features a predominantly female cast.
